We had some great news from Clare O'Neil, the new Minister of Home Affairs, that all of the Covid-19 Australian Border restrictions are being lifted from Wednesday the 6th July 2022.
The new Minister of Home Affairs issued a media release over the weekend to say that international travellers to Australia will no longer be required to complete a Digital Passenger Declaration (DPD) to declare their Covid-19 vaccination status.
The media release found here:

The relaxation of travel restrictions is on the advice of Australia's Chief Medical Offer.
No more red tape for travellers to Australia is great news for all, particularly for those prevented from entering the country because they did not meet the vaccination requirements or the medical concessions.
Travellers are, however, still required to adhere to any Covid-related restrictions imposed by airlines, shipping operators, or other countries they will pass through on their way to Australia, as well as the Australian States and Territories' local restrictions.
We are not in a position to comment on the restrictions imposed by other countries, but in terms of flights and the Australian States and Territories, this still means mark wearing for travellers.
Travellers are still encouraged to keep checking the Australian Border restrictions:

In short, the message Australia sends to the world is that all travellers are once again welcome!
