HOW TO TAKE YOUR ENGLISH TEST AT HOME

16 Apr 2020

Most English test providers have closed their test centres due to public health concerns so it is increasingly difficult to complete your English test during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, we have discovered that there is a new home test that will still allow you to get on with your test by taking it at home. This is great news for those wanting to put this 'downtime' to good use and move ahead with their Visa plans.

TOEFL is offering students the ability to take the test online, from home with the TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition test. The test is identical in content, format and on-screen experience to the TOEFL iBT test taken at a test centre. It is taken on your own computer at home and is monitored by a human proctor online through ProctorU® For more information and to register to take the test please see below;

Your computer must meet the equipment requirements for the test, including the installation of the ETS Test Browser and the ProctorU Systems Check and you must have a room that provides an acceptable environment for the test.

So put this time stuck at home to good use and get your English test done so that once the travel bans are lifted and life starts to get back to normal you will be ready raring to go with your Australian Visa.
