ACT - State Nomination - Closure

25 Mar 2014

The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) has announced that program targets for the Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa have been met for the 2013/14 financial year.

The closure is effective from close of business today (25 March 2014), thereafter, offshore applications for ACT nomination will not be accepted. If you are living overseas, you will not be able to apply for ACT nomination of a Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa until the program reopens in July 2014.

Please get in touch with the team from Immigration2oz to discuss your options and/or how to get ahead of the pack before the nominations re-open (by getting decision ready*); in so doing you will have the best chance of success when the nominations reopen after 1st July 2014.

*It takes approximately 6 months, or more, to get prepared for a state nominated application, so make sure you are ahead of the curve when the nominations reopen, and are not playing catch up with the competition.
